Level portals opened:
Press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Up, Down, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. All level portals can be opened without collecting the required fairies.

99 lives:
Press Left, Right(3), Down, Up, Right, Up, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen.

Warp:
Press Left, Right(2), Left, Up, Left(2), Right, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen.

Warp unlock all levels:
Press Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Left, Up, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen.

Unlock all levels:
Press Down(2), Up(2), Left, Right, Up, Down, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen.

Unlimited health in Sparx worlds:
Press Down, Up(2), Down, Left, Right(2), Left, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen.

Unlimited weapons in Sparx worlds:
Press Down, Right, Up, Left(2), Up, Right, Down, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen.

Extra Sparx weapons:
Press Right, Up, Right, Left, Down, Up, Left, Down, A when "Press Start" appears at the title screen. Then, use one of the following commands during game play in Sparx worlds.

Invincibility shield: Press Up + Select.
Smart bomb: Press Right + Select.
Rapid fire: Press Left + Select.
Homing bombs: Press Down + Select.
All keys: Press L + Select.

Control menu background:
The particles flying in the background of the menus can be controlled with the following actions.

Randomness: Press L + Select.
Direction: Press L + Left or Right.
Directionality: Press L + Up or Down.
Number: Press L + A or B.
Velocity: Press R + Left or Right.
Gravity: Press R + Up or Down.
Life span: Press R + A or B.
Reset to default: Press L + R.

Control credits screen:
The particles flying in the background of the credits can be controlled with the following actions.

Randomness: Press L + Select.
Vertical range: Press Up or Down.
Horizontal range: Press Left or Right.
Vertical speed: Press L + R + Up or Down.
Horizontal speed: Press L + R + Left or Right.
Direction: Press L + Left or Right.
Directionality: Press L + Up or Down.
Number: Press L + A or B.
Velocity: Press R + Left or Right.
Gravity: Press R + Up or Down.
Life span: Press R + A or B.
Exit credits screen: Press B.
Toggle credits scroll: Press Start.

Quick start:
Press L + R + Start after turning on the game to immediately display the Spyro logo screen.

Hint: Dragonfly X world:
Collect 100 fairies and all 7,000 jewels.

Hint: Quick glide stop:
When gliding in the air after jumping, press A again to immediately stop and drop to the ground.

Hint: Unlimited lives:
Go to the House Of Winter Fairies and from the portal go down until you reach a jar with a life. Enter the portal to go to the house of Autumn Fairies. If you return to the Winter Fairies, you will find the jar again. Repeat the process to get unlimited lives.

Hint: Keep extra lives:
Use the "Unlimited lives" trick to get as many lives as desired, then save the game. If you get stuck on a level, do not save. Instead, quit the game and reopen it. You will have as many lives as you previously saved and be at the same location.

Hint: Market Mesa: Light last candle:
In order to get the final candle lit, go to the start of the level. G left until you are the point where if you were go any further, you will fall and lose a life. Hold L and press Left. At this point you should see a platform. Jump onto the platform then onto the one next to it. You will see the last candle.

Hint: Defeating Lava Prairie:
Walk to the holes and blow the bombs into them.

Hint: Less time in Sparx World:
You can have less time by holding A. This makes you go faster.

Hint: More than 100 fairies:
After defeating Grendor twice go to his world again and you will rescue Zoe again. You will now have 101 fairies. Note: You can do this more than once.
